PHASE II BECOMES A REALITY FOR THE NEWEST PLAYGROUND IN MASSILLON… Thanks to donations from PTO, Hot Lunch Program and the Auction of Treasures, we were able to secure the necessary funding to install new items which include a hand over hand 90 degree tri-rung ladder, a challenge bridge, hand over hand rings and a three panel rock wall climber. Your total investment in new playground equipment since August, 2008 is $ 34,399 . Everyone associated with the project can be very proud of this accomplishment! Linda Litman, mother of Aaliyah and Justin in second grade, deserves a huge debt of gratitude for her coordination of this project since its inception back in the Fall of 2007. The photos on the accompanying page show just some of the many volunteers who turned out on Saturday, August 15 th (the hottest day of summer, of course!) to start and complete the project in one day. Ask anyone of the helpers, which included parents, friends and alumni, and they will tell you it was indeed a good physical workout.

NEW: Need to dispose of an old cell phone? A collection box will be located next to the ink cartridge recycling box. Jeremy Graber of Canal Fulton has offered to help us in recycling old cell phones.
