“Good morning students!” , a popular refrain as Ashley Dobbins, seventh grader and Mark Haubert, eighth grader take to the microphone each morning at 8:15a.m. sharp and tell the news of the day. In addition to offering important school news, the duo lead the student body in prayer and the pledge of allegiance. When asked by Mr. Otte what was the best thing about their job, Ashley Dobbins said, “I feel it is a great responsibility that has been given to me. If I didn't share with the students what's happening at school today, they may not know.” Mark Haubert added, “I feel good when I know I've done a good job. It is a great feeling.” This is the second year that Ashley and Mark have earned the opportunity to be the official morning announcers. When one of them is absent for any reason, Reed Fichter, seventh grader, steps up to the plate to assist. Thanks students for your continued commitment to this daily challenge.
