School's Annual Auction of Treasure Continues to Set Records… The 15th annual Auction of Treasures, “Return 2 the Islands” again set a new mark for school fundraising. Initial returns show that we will top last year's records of $49,000 with a detailed report not available until all expenses have been recorded. This year's top prizewinner electing to take the $5,000 cash was Todd Roan of Massillon. Many thanks are in order to the countless volunteers who spent hours planning, preparing and working the auction. It takes a lot of people to make a venture like this a huge success. Few if any elementary schools in the Youngstown diocese are able to generate these kind of results. Only a handful of high schools can claim to do as well. This is certainly a tribute to our parents, parishioners and friends who give willingly of their time and talent. (Note: the adrenalin is just beginning to back down!)
