Dr. Steven E. Hansen

Dr. Steven E. Hansen, Optometrist at the Eye Clinic in Massillon , recently visited our school and presented lessons to first, third and sixth graders impressing upon students of all ages the importance of vision care and eye safety. Dr. Hansen's visit is part of the Ohio Optometric Association's state-wide program called “Realeyes Classroom Initiative”. This program, made possible through a grant from the Ohio Department of Health Save Our Sight Fund, is now in its seventh year connecting eye doctors with classrooms throughout Ohio. Pictured above Dr. Hansen talks with students from Mrs. Rufo's third grade and from their reactions they appeared to be all ears, or should I say all eyes!
