Bible Study

Our Church today urges us to make the Bible an essential element of our lives as Catholics.
The Second Vatican Council urged that "easy access to Sacred Scripture should be provided for all the Christians Faithful." (DV22).

The Bible is a privileged place where we experience the communication of God to us.
There we can be assured that we encounter the presence of God calling us to a more abundant life.

The Scripture Study helps individuals and the wider parish community encounter God, in the words of the Scriptures. Participants support and challenge one another by forming small faith communities to share their experiences and growing understanding.

As Parishioners accept the challenge of the Scriptures, they reach out in service, and the parish is renewed by the Word of God.

Sessions are held in the fall, winter, and spring on Sunday mornings between the 8 A.M and 10:30 A.M Masses. Tuesday sessions are held in the Community Room from 10:00 till 11:00 A.M.

Training for small group facilitators is provided whenever needed.
